Experience:

Rafael brings over 25-years of professional experience, including more than two decades dedicated to the mobility sector across road and rail transport, having worked in Nokia, Irizar and Talgo. He has extensive international leadership experience and has been responsible for operational planning and management, international commercial, plant and maintenance optimisation across global geographies for the last 20-years.

In his role as Group COO at Mobico, he leads global operations including fleet management, safety, procurement and infrastructure strategy to drive operational efficiency and integration. Rafael oversees the Company's maintenance division, operating model and the structuring of common policies, processes and technological tools to ensure operational consistency. Rafael holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and an Executive MBA from Deusto Business School.
