Experience:
Carlos joined Alsa in 1998, bringing more than 25 years of senior executive leadership and corporate strategy experience, having spearheaded major M&A milestones including the Enatcar privatisation and the acquisition of Grupo Continental. He has been a member of the Steering Committee since 1999 and is currently Managing Director of Alsa’s Diversification businesses (encompassing Rail, Medical Transport, Hydrocarbons, and Catering) and Rail operations in Germany where he champions a strategy centred on business diversification and operational excellence to drive the company’s evolution into new markets.
Carlos holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares and a Master’s degree in Transport Economics from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid and the University of Leeds. He is also Board Member of Spain’s National Land Transport Council - Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MITMA).
