Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region (RMHC Philly) has selected WeDriveU to support complimentary shuttles for families accessing hospital care for their children. RMHC Philly provides temporary lodging, transportation, meals, and vital supportive services to families who travel to Philadelphia for paediatric care.

The organization also provides a summer camp for kids with cancer, a mobile dental health clinic for underserved children in North Philadelphia, and comfortable lounges at local children’s hospitals.

The partnership addresses RMHC Philly’s shortage of volunteer drivers by providing additional driver personnel and transportation management services from WeDriveU.

WeDriveU’s friendly, professional shuttle drivers guide families in sprinter vans between the Ronald McDonald House on Chestnut Street to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care.

WeDriveU is honored to serve a RMHC location with a special role in the organization’s history dating back to the 1970s when it opened as the world’s first Ronald McDonald House. The site, which hosts 127 families each night, reflects the vision of pioneering Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia pediatric oncologist Dr. Audrey E. Evans, co-founder of RMHC Philly.

Ronald McDonald House Charities support millions of families globally across 62 countries and regions with 685+ core programs.
