National Express partners receive funding from the US Environmental Protection Agency

As a proud sustainability leader within the student transportation industry, National Express is pleased to announce that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected a group of our district partners to receive grants through the Clean School Bus Program.

From these grants, $30M was provided for electric-vehicle (EV) school buses and EV-compatible infrastructure. This funding will allow us to electrify almost 80 school buses across four states and increase the pace of our journey toward a greener tomorrow.

"I am proud of our work, and I look forward to the exciting road ahead as our industry pivots to electric vehicles," said Nick Voisard, Senior Director of Electric Vehicles, North America

States include Michigan, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and California.
