Xplore Dundee is reminding local people It’s Not Unusual for their services to be diverted in the city centre during concerts at Slessor Gardens.

This Saturday sees the legendary Sex Bomb Tom Jones taking to the stage and the local bus operator is encouraging concert-goers to take the bus to reduce the amount of traffic in the area, and speed up travel to and from the venue.

If you’re asking ‘What’s New Pussycat?’ there are minor changes to note to many of the usual services; the Shore Terrace busway at the rear of the Caird Hall will be closed, so Services 4 | 5 | 9/10 | 17 | 22 | 28/29 | 32/33 | 57a/59 which usually use the High Street, Whitehall Street & Crichton Street will be diverted to stop elsewhere in the City Centre.

When you’re trying to catch the Green, Green Bus to Home at the end of the night, there will be inspectors in the city centre to assist passengers in accessing the right services.

You can Kiss goodbye to your car for the night, as there’s a Special Daysaver on offer too, which will save money and avoid long parking queues.  Anyone who shows their concert ticket to the driver will get a Daysaver for just £3.
