National Express West Midlands bus service changes from 27 October 2019
22 October 2019 12:42 PM

From Sunday 27th October 2019 National Express West Midlands is making changes to some bus services to help improve reliability across Birmingham and the Black Country.
In addition, new bus services 54 and 54A will be introduced between Worlds End and West Bromwich to replace services 54, 54A and 55 that are currently operated by Diamond Bus.
National Express West Midlands will also operate a number of services on temporarily revised timetables (from 27th October to 1st November 2019 only), to reflect the significantly lower levels of congestion and faster journey times usually experienced during school half term holidays in the West Midlands.
To keep the kids (and adults!) entertained, customers can save on a range of days out thanks to great value offers with local attractions.
Offers include: kids go free at Dudley Zoo, 40% off Legoland Discovery Centre, 25% off at the Black Country Living Museum, and 2-for-1 at the ThinkTank Birmingham Science Museum. All available offers are listed here.
National Express West Midlands has also slashed the price of its low-fare zone day tickets from £3.50 to £3 to help save struggling Black Country high streets. And child tickets are now £1.50.
The low-fare zones cover parts of Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall, including Stourbridge, Merry Hill, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Oldbury, Blackheath and Halesowen.
Full details and timetables for all bus services affected by the 27th October changes are available online at www.nxbus.co.uk or in travelshops and local bus stations. Key information is also highlighted below.
